While officials say the worst is over, a flood watch continues in eastern Ontario.
Municipal officials in Renfrew County say high water levels on Round Lake have caused several homes to flood, leading to the declaration of a state of emergency earlier this week.
The rising water on the lake, however, has now peaked and residents are getting advice on how to clean up the mess left behind.
Meanwhile, in east Ottawa high water closed two streets including Trim Road near Petrie Island.
Officials, however, say flooding on the banks of the Ottawa River is minor and they don't expect the river to rise much more than it already has.
