Parts of Renfrew County are under a state of emergency as high water surrounds several homes and cottages on Round Lake.
The high water has already forced two main roads in the area to close and officials say water levels are expected to continue to rise until they peak Friday night.
A high-water advisory has also been issued for residents living along Golden Lake and the Bonnechere River.
Residents say although the area is prone to flooding, they've never seen water levels this high.
