Ontario Provincial Police say they've recovered the body of a 91-year-old Almonte man who was reported missing Tuesday.
Tom Adams was last seen Tuesday afternoon standing by the Mississippi River outside his condominium. A diver recovered his body in the river early Thursday morning.
"He was just an old man who went for a walk and didn't come back and that's the way we'll remember him," his son, Stephen Adams, told CTV Ottawa.
Police say the cause of the elderly man's death and his disappearance are still under investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
