OPP investigating third suspicious fire in three days near Napanee, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a house fire near Napanee, Ont. – the third fire in the region to be considered suspicious since Monday.

Police say officers and firefighters responded to a garage fire in Stone Mills Township on Wednesday morning just after 1:30 a.m.

No one was injured but the fire spread from the garage to the house causing some damage.

Police say it is unknown at this time if the fire is related to the two fires in Greater Napanee on Oct. 23.

OPP are still investigating two fires at a home in Stone Mills Township and another which burned down the old arena of the Napanee and District Curling Club on Monday morning.

No one was injured in the fires and police are considering them as suspicious.

An investigation is ongoing by OPP and the Fire Marshal.

Police are seeking the public's assistance and asks that anyone with information concerning the fires to contact the Lennox and Addington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
