A 61-year-old man is dead after a car collision on Highway 15 Sunday afternoon.
Police say it was about 12:30 p.m. when the southbound car he was driving entered the northbound lane and collided head on with a black Acura.
The man had a three-year-old child in the car with him at the time of the collision. She survived the crash and was transported to Kingston General Hospital for observation.
The driver of the Acura was also transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released any names. However, they have identified the deceased as being from Lyndhurst, Ontario.
Police expect Highway 15 will be closed between Woodburn Road and Joyceville Road until about 6:00 pm for investigation.
Detours will be set up for travelers.
