Ontario's liquor board workers want to top-up wages for part-time and temporary employees.

More than 60 per cent of LCBO workers are deemed "casual" with an hourly rate of as little as $10. The Ontario Public Service Employees Union says it's not enough to live on.

The union wants to province to legislate equal rates for full and part-time employees, no matter where they work. Saskatchewan and Quebec both offer a degree of equality protection for casual workers.

Rallies are being held Wednesday at LCBO locations across Ontario.
