The average cost to buy a new home in Ottawa hit $727,700 in April, according to a new report.

The Ottawa Real Estate Board says the average cost of a new single-family home increased 1.6 per cent in April compared to April 2023.  Home prices have increased from $703,500 in January and $708,500 in February. looks at what you can buy for $727,000 in nine neighbourhoods across the city of Ottawa.

Barrhaven - $725,000
