ST. CATHERINES, Ont. - Dougie Hamilton had two goals and two assists as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the visiting Kingston Frontenacs 9-3 on Sunday afternoon in Ontario Hockey League action.

Alex Friesen and Joel Wigle scored two goals apiece for the IceDogs (39-17-3), who regained sole possesion of top spot in the Eastern Conference, Freddie Hamilton and Brett Ritchie each had a goal and an assist while Ryan Strome had a single goal.

Andrew Agozzino chipped in with four assists.

Jacob Smith and Ryan Kujawinksi each had a goal and an assist for the Frontenacs (19-35-6), who sit last in the Eastern Conference, as Petr Beranek scored a single goal.

Christopher Festarini stopped 24 shots for the win while Igor Bobkov allowed four goals on nine shots before getting pulled less than six minutes into the game.

Jacob Riley stopped 40 of 45 shots in relief.
