The Fire Marshall's Office says it is still unclear what caused a deadly fire on Caldwell Avenue in the city's west end early this week.

Two-year-old Khalid Ali died when flames engulfed his family's town home Monday night. His mother and six siblings managed to escape uninjured.

The fire marshall continues to examine evidence to try to determine the cause of the deadly blaze.

Fire officials are also reminding residents to make sure they have working smoke detectors on every floor of their homes.

Investigators have been able to determine there was at least one working smoke detector in the home.
