CTV Ottawa has learned up to 50 management positions with the City of Ottawa will be eliminated in the next round of restructuring.
Mayor Larry O'Brien will release the details at a special council meeting on Wednesday.
He says the move is the biggest cut from the city's payroll since amalgamation.
The layoffs are part of the third and final wave of 500 job cuts that were directed by Ottawa City Council.
