Ottawa Police removed 2 bodies from a car that went through the ice of the Ottawa River near Fitzroy Harbour.

The car was discovered on Sunday morning near the Quyon Ferry run.  Just before midnight Monday, officers used a crane to pull the vehicle from the bottom of the river.  They found 2 bodies inside.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2013 Dodge Dart linked to two missing people - 61-year-old Donna Graves and her 29-year-old son Daron.  The bodies have not yet been identified.

The pair disappeared last week.  They were last seen in Arnprior Thursday night.

Police divers battled frigid temperatures, poor visibility and strong currents during the recovery operation.

Police continue to investigate.
