CORNWALL, Ont. - Cornwall police say a 12-year-old girl is facing drug charges after being caught with suspected marijuana at school.
Officers say the girl was arrested Friday at school in the eastern Ontario community after a school official called police.
She now faces a count of possession of a controlled substance.
The girl has been released to the custody of a parent and is scheduled to appear in court on April 21.
The girl's name is not being released due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
