Gatineau Police have released the name of a man who was murdered in an apartment building in the Mont Bleu area Tuesday night.
Ryan Marshall Horner, 26, died of his injuries after he was shot in the chest.
Police were called to an apartment on Normand Street after receiving a report of a fight at about 8:30 p.m. April 1.
When police arrived on scene, they found Horner unconscious and suffering from a single gunshot wound. Horner was transported to hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Police say they have interviewed more than a dozen people during their investigation.
This is Gatineau's first murder of the year.
