A 22-year-old cyclist was revived by Ottawa Paramedics after a “medical event” in the city’s east end on Sunday.

Paramedics were called to the intersection of Charlemagne Boulevard and Tenth Line Road in Orleans just before 7 p.m.

Paramedics say he was found without vital signs but they were able to revive him using a defibrillator.

The man is said to be in critical but stable condition in hospital.
