The capital’s distinctive red BIXI bikes are being packed in for another year.
The National Capital Commission said their bike share system generated more than 44,000 rides since the 2012 season opened April 15 with 15 new stations and 150 new bikes.
All 25 stations will be out of service as of 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
They'll return April 15, 2013.
