Sunday, hundreds of wreaths will be laid on Veterans’ headstones buried at Beechwood National Military Cemetery to commentate Canadian soldiers.
Wreaths Across Canada organizes the event every year during the holidays to honour and remember all the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces for their service.
The ceremony is held every year on the first Sunday of December. It was first held in Ottawa in 2011.
This year’s event will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the National Military Cemetery.
