The long-awaited Airport Parkway Pedestrian/Cycling Bridge is set to open on Nov. 29, according to a post on River Ward Councillor Maria McRae’s website.
The bridge was originally supposed to be completed in 2011 and is about $4 million over budget. It had to be re-designed because of concrete and engineering problems.
The bridge will connect the South Keys and Hunt Club communities in Ottawa’s south end.
