Stunt driving charges were laid today against a motorcyclist speeding nearly 170 kilometres an hour along the Queensway early this morning.
The rider was spotted with two other motorcyclists getting on the eastbound 417 at Maitland. The three kept pace with one another at high speed, past the construction zone at the Vanier Parkway to Regional Road 174.
One of the riders was stopped by OPP at Blair Road. Two others are still at large.
The 26 year old rider was charged with dangerous driving.
