Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson did just about everything tonight against the New Jersey Devils, even almost scoring as the Ottawa Senators held off the Devils for a 2-0 victory.

The Senators opened the scoring early in the first period on the power play. Kyle Turris ends a 10 game scoring drought giving Ottawa  1-0 lead. The Devils outshot Ottawa 10-4 after the first period.

The Devils continued to dominate in the 2nd period. Craig Anderson making some great saves to keep the Devils off the scoreboard. The shot count after 2 periods 26-8 in favor of New  Jersey.

The 3rd period wasn’t much different. The Senators managed to hold off the Devils. Anderson even came close to scoring in the final minute in the Devils empty net. Turris scored an empty netter in the dying seconds for his 2nd of the game. Anderson made 34 saves for his 3rd shutout of the season.

The Senators wrap up a 3 game road trip and next host the league leading Anaheim Ducks Friday night.
