Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to find a suspect wanted for robbing the same convenience store twice.

On Dec. 18, a male suspect entered a convenience store in the 200 block of Laurier Ave shortly before 1:00 a.m.

Police say he pulled out a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect made off with an undisclosed quantity of cigarettes. There were no injuries.

On Dec. 30, at around 9:10 p.m., police say the same suspect went back to the same convenience store, armed with a knife. Again, he made demands for money and cash. He fled with an undisclosed quantity of both cash and cigarettes.

The suspect was last seen running southbound on Henderson Ave. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 19-22 years old, slim build, and English speaking. In both instances, the suspect attempted to disguise his identity (see pictures.)
