A former Ottawa high school priest will be under house arrest after sexually assaulting a student 38 years ago.
Father Kenneth O’Keefe, a retired teacher at St. Pius High School, admitted to assaulting the student in 1974.
The victim went to police in 2010 after learning new information.
O’Keefe, who now suffers from dementia, is facing a similar allegation in Gatineau.
That case is still before the court.
