Motorists should prepare for higher prices at the pumps as the cost of gas in the region is on the rise once again.
Prices jumped slightly late Tuesday night to about $1.15 per litre of regular gasoline.
On Wednesday morning, the price of gas at many stations was about $1.17 per litre. The price is even higher in west Quebec.
The increase comes as oil futures rose to a new trading high of US$114.95.
