Police in Lanark County are searching for an 85-year-old Perth man who's been missing for more than a week.

Police say Kenneth Robert Lewis was last seen at a McDonald's restaurant in Perth at about 11:30 a.m. on April 18.

Although Lewis lives in Perth, his red 2006 Ford Focus was found parked on private property in Smiths Falls. The property owner contacted police when the vehicle wasn't moved.

Investigators say nobody reported Lewis missing, but they haven't been able to track him down since they were notified about his vehicle.

It's believed Lewis' car was parked on the property on April 18. It's now being held by police.

Three police forces are now searching for the man. An aerial and ground search was conducted on Tuesday.

Lewis, who is a retired farmer, is described as being five feet eight inches tall and 170 pounds. He has short grey hair and is clean shaven.

Lewis is a widow, and is not believed to have any children. He is considered healthy with a sound mind.

He was last seen wearing a light blue spring coat, a brown plaid golf cap and khaki pants. He is known to carry his wallet on a chain.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Perth police at 613-267-7283 or 613-267-3131.
