Ottawa police say they've charged a 29-year-old Montreal man following an investigation into several allegations of sexual assault.
Police say they received reports in April, May and June about a man who was approaching teenaged girls in his vehicle and asking for directions.
Investigators allege the man would encourage the girls to stand at the driver's side of the vehicle within arm's length and then touch them inappropriately.
Robert Yancovitch is charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Ottawa police say similar incidents are being investigated in other jurisdictions, including Montreal and Longueuil, Que.
