The family of hit-and-run victim Michael Morlang is appealing for help from the public to find the driver who struck and killed their son nearly two years ago.
30-year-old Morlang was struck and killed while walking on Frank Kenney Rd., north of Russell Rd., on the morning of August 11, 2013. It happened sometime between 5 and 5:30 a.m.
The vehicle involved in the deadly crash fled the scene, and police have had no leads on a suspect in the nearly two years since the collision happened.
Investigators believe the vehicle involved was a GM product with dark red or burgundy paint used between the years of 1997-1998 and 2003-2010. The vehicle might have been repaired by a local garage or body shop in the time since the August 11 crash.
