Ottawa Paramedics say a construction worker in his 40s was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition after being knocked into a trench by the shovel of an excavator.
It happened at a site on Prince of Wales Drive near Deakin Street around 4 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2014.
Paramedics say the man suffered shoulder and arm injuries.
