Corey Cowick made sure Brian Kilrea's 2,100th game behind the Ottawa 67's bench was a good one.

Cowick scored a pair of goals Sunday and the 67's struck four times on the power play in a 6-2 victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League.

Cowick fought the Greyhounds' Jake Carrick on the game's opening shift before returning to contribute a first-period marker on the power play, one of four goals Ottawa (6-6-0-0) scored with the man advantage in the opening 20 minutes to take a 4-0 lead. The Gloucester, Ont., native added another goal in the second period.

"We came out a little flat in the last couple of games and Carrick was willing to go, so I just kind of responded," Cowick said. "The boys responded perfectly. I was in the box for 1/8Ottawa's first 3/8 goal, came out and we scored on the next power play. The power play worked to our advantage tonight."

Kilrea, already the Canadian Hockey League record holder for most wins as a coach, added to that total with victory No. 1,159.
