SARNIA, Ont. - Rookie Jordan Subban scored once in regulation and again in the shootout as the Belleville Bulls edged the Sarnia Sting 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Adam Payerl scored twice for the Bulls (6-5-0), while Brendan Gaunce added two assists in the win.

Reid Boucher scored twice in the third for the Sting (9-2-2) to erase a 3-1 deficit, while highly touted prospect pick Nail Yakupov had a goal and two assists.

The Sting finished a stretch of six games in nine days.

"Back to back three games in three nights is pretty tough on these guys," said head coach Jacques Beaulieu. "It is what it is, at least we battle back and got a point."

Both team struggled on the power play as the Bulls scored once on six chances, while the Sting were 1-for-5.

Brandon Hope took the loss stopping 29 shots, while John Chartrand earned the win, stopping 25 shots and the last four in the shootout.
