Ontario Provincial Police say one person is dead after a head-on collision on Highway 17.
Police say it happened at White Water Road in Laurentian Valley Township just before 11 Tuesday morning.
Investigators say two vehicles crashed at the intersection. Both drivers were rushed to the Pembroke Regional Hospital where one of them was pronounced dead. The other driver was treated for minor injuries.
Highway 17 is closed between Highway 41 Laurentian Valley Township and Greenwood Road Township. Police say there are detours in place.
The investigation is ongoing.
