Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza was the brunt of criticism when the team struggled to win at home during the NHL playoffs.
Spezza made errors. He made blind passes. He missed pucks. Now, the team's general manager says Spezza was stung when fans booed him at home.
Spezza is the highest paid player on the team. He also has a no-movement clause which is scheduled to kick in on July 1. The clause gives the Senators less than two months to decide if they want to keep Spezza.
