Gatineau's rapid bus route delayed by another year

Construction on Gatineau's rapid bus system has been delayed by another year.

It's the second time work on the $235-million project has fallen behind schedule.

The delay means the rapid bus route won't be ready for buses until 2013 at the earliest. The last delay had pushed the project's timeline to fall 2012.

The plan, which focuses on rapid bus transportation, includes a 17-kilometre route linking Lorrain Boulevard to downtown Gatineau.
