Ottawa police say a 21-year-old man is dead after being stabbed outside an Elgin Street bar just after 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014.
The police tape at Elgin and Frank Street has now become the scene of Ottawa’s fourth homicide of 2014.
Paramedics say the man was stabbed in the upper part of his body and lost vital signs while being transported in the ambulance.
The man’s identity has yet to be released. Police say they are working on notifying relatives.
This is the same area where there was a shooting earlier this year.
