The victim of a head-on collision involving an alleged drunk driver was honoured at his funeral Saturday morning.
Bryan Casey, 50, was remembered at St. Augustine Parish in Ottawa as a sports fan, a dedicated worker, and a loving family man.
"Bryan worked hard, played hard, and was true to himself and his family," said his father Gus.
His widow LeeEllen Carroll shared the last message she received from her husband.
"Sorry to see hockey over. All three had great seasons. Time to face facts LeeEllen, I've created the dream team," she said.
The father of three died March 31 on Highway 17 near Arnprior when a Ford Expedition crossed into his lane as he was driving home from work.
