Canada Post vehicle involved in head on collision

A 38-year-old postal worker was seriously injured in a crash near Barrhaven this morning.

The collision happened on Woodroffe Avenue near Grenfell Crescent.

The man was trapped in his postal van when it rolled over after the collision with a sedan.

A police officer immobilized the driver while another kicked out the windshield before fire crews got the man out of the vehicle.

The man was treated for neck and shoulder injuries and is in stable condition in hospital. No one else was injured.
