According to ottawagolf.com 11 area golf courses opened today. Another 4 are opening Saturday.
They join 10 other courses that opened over the past week.
And another dozen or so are slated to open before the end of the month.
Many courses are reporting soft conditions because of the late spring melt. Some have golf cart restrictions in place until things firm up a little bit.
And an early morning tee time can still be a little chilly at this time of year.
But the message is clear. After a long, cold winter in and around the nation’s capital, it’s time to tee it up.
