The guns and gangs unit is investigating after a shooting in Ottawa’s west end last night. This is Ottawa's 44th shooting of 2016.
It happened on McWatters road near Baseline and Greenbank around 7 P.M. last night.
Ottawa police are looking for two vehicles spotted leaving the scene of the shooting.
A single shot was fired there are no reports of injuries.
Witnesses describe seeing a silver Nissan and a black Honda flee the scene.
This is the 44th shooting of the year in Ottawa, surprassing the 43 shootings in all of 2015.
