OTTAWA -- Police have laid a first degree murder charge in the death of an Ottawa man.
20-year-old Mutiur Rehman has been charged in the death of André Boisclair.
Paramedics were called early Saturday morning to a rooming house (near Somerset West and Lyon streets) and found Boisclair inside.
The 37-year-old died en route to hospital.
A tenant at the rooming house says he was awoken by the sound of screaming coming from an upstairs apartment.
Boisclair's death is Ottawa's ninth homicide of the year.
