UPDATE: Missing 16-year-old James Nichols has been located safe and sound this morning. Ottawa Police wish to thank the public and media for their assistance.

 

The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing teen.  Police say James Nichols, 16, may be at risk due to illness. 

Nichols was last seen around noon in the area of Sir Wilfred Laurier High School on 10th Line in Orleans on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.  Police say the teen lives on Cooper Street in downtown Ottawa but never came home Monday night. 

It’s believed Nichols may be in the Queenswood Heights area of Orleans. 

Nichols is described as a white male, six feet tall, weighing 120 pounds.  He has brown hair, brown eyes and acne.  He was last seen wearing a light blue Burton ski coat, a red Nebraska ball cap, dark pants, “skater” shoes and a white and black backpack.
