Marshy's Bar-B-Q and Grill sports bar in Nepean has closed.
Brad Marsh, an original Ottawa Senator, got into the restaurant business when the Senators moved out to Kanata 15 years ago.
Signs looking for new tenants were posted at Marshy's Bar-B-Q and Grill in Nepean on Thursday.
Marshy's had two locations. The original sports bar was located at Scotiabank Place. Marsh later opened another restaurant on Centrepointe Drive in Nepean.
However, the restaurant at Scotiabank Place closed a couple of years ago when the Senators took over that location and turned it into Bert's Bar.
Marshy's sports bar in Nepean was a good place to watch sporting events, and it also served as a meeting place for people heading to shows at Centrepointe Theatre.
Marsh was usually there and always eager to talk hockey with his customers.
