Katy Perry to play Canadian Tire Centre in July

One of the most popular recording artists in the world is bringing her Prism tour to the Canadian Tire Centre this summer.

Katy Perry will be in Ottawa on July 16, 2014.

Perry's latest album Prism surpassed the $1 million mark in sales this week.

July is turning out to be one of the hottest months in music in the capital.

Bruno Mars is scheduled for July 24, 2014 and Justin Timberlake will take to the CTC stage on July 22, 2014.

Michael Buble starts it all off with a concert at CTC July 2, 2014.
