The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the robbery of a convenience store and is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspects responsible.

On March 12, 2016, at approximately 6:30 pm, two suspects entered a convenience store situated along the 400 block of Donald St. One of the males carried a long gun, wrapped in a towel or shirt, and the second male carried a large knife. The suspects made a demand for cash. The suspects obtained an undisclosed quantity of cash and fled the premises. There were no injuries.

The suspects may have fled to a red Mazda, with a driver, parked and waiting on Brant St.

The suspects are described as follows (images attached):

Suspect 1:

  • black male
  • slim build
  • approx. 5'8" (173cm)
  • wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded jacket with white strings, gloves, dark coloured Converse-style runners, a blue bandanna around his neck.
  • He carried the long gun.

 

 

Suspect 2:

  • male
  • unknown race
  • medium build
  • heavier set than suspect #1
  • wore beige work boots, light grey sweatpants, a black hooded top, had a blue and white bandanna over his face, latex gloves.
  • He carried the knife.
