Easter at the Farm
Celebrate Easter at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum this weekend.
Meet the chicks, ducklings and rabbits, visit the egg station and more.

"It's our biggest event of the year," said museum marketing director Sonia Mendes. "We're so excited to share the birth of baby animals, eat chocolate, view some beautiful Easter eggs and have all sorts of family activities."
"We have family movies available, there's an Easter craft, you can learn about the transformation of cocoa beans into chocolate, and, of course, you can meet the baby animals in our barns."
Carp Farmers Market
The Carp Farmers Market Easter Market is Saturday at the Carp Fairgrounds.
Over 40 vendors will be on display in two buildings.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lansdowne Farmers' Market
The Lansdowne Farmers' Market is open on Easter Sunday.
Visit the vendors at the Aberdeen Pavilion on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Metcalfe Easter Farmers Market
Checkout over 30 vendors this weekend at the Easter Farmers' Market at the Metcalfe Farmers Market.
The market is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Maple Syrup Season
Sugar bush season is underway in Ottawa and eastern Ontario.

"This is the first crop of the spring in Canada, so there's always excitement," said farm owner Shirley Fulton Deugo. "After a long winter, who doesn't want to get out of the out of the house, out of the city, and be in a beautiful forest like this?"
"Saturday and Sunday we have our Easter egg hunts and the bunnies is going to be here at the forest nook for all kids of all ages," she said.
"We've been here since 1840, so we've been practicing how to make maple syrup for a long time!"
AnimeFest Ottawa
The first edition of Anime Ottawa is set for this weekend.
"It's a pop-culture fan convention that celebrates and showcases anime, manga and Asian culture."
The festival runs Friday to Sunday at the EY Centre.

Parliament: The Immersive Experience at 211 Sparks Street includes an exhibition and a 360-degree multimedia show that takes you on a tour through Centre Block, which has been closed since 2019.
The self-guided tour is 45 minutes.
