Rideau Canal Skateway
The Rideau Canal Skateway opens to the public this weekend.
The National Capital Commission says a 3.6-kilometre section of the world's largest skating rink, between Somerset Street and Bank Street, will open at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Skaters will be able to skate on the Rideau Canal Skateway on Saturday and Sunday.
Equipment rentals will be available at Capital Skates, located at the Fifth Avenue access point. The BeaverTails huts will also be open.
Ottawa 67’s
The Ottawa 67's hosts the Oshawa Generals Friday night at TD Place.
Game time is 7 p.m.

The Ottawa Charge host Boston Saturday afternoon at the Arena at TD Place.

NAC Orchestra
The NAC Orchestra presents Final Symphony: Music from Final Fantasy on Friday and Saturday night.

The first 613flea of the year is Saturday at Lansdowne.
Visit 150 vendors at the marketplace featuring eclectic goods, handmade, antiques, vintage clothing, great foods and one-of-a-kinds.
613flea runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Aberdeen Pavilion.
Capital Trades Shows
Ottawa's longest running collector show returns to the Nepean Sportsplex on Sunday.
The Capital Trades Shows – Sports Card, Comic, Pokemon and Collectibles Show is Sunday, with more than 8,000 square feet of collectibles, memorabilia and more.
Admission is free.
The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You can go for a skate, weather permitting, on City of Ottawa outdoor rinks.

The public is invited to skate on the Rideau Hall skating rink.

The Winter Pavilion will be open for visitors to warm up and lace up their skates.

Parliament: The Immersive Experience at 211 Sparks Street includes an exhibition and a 360-degree multimedia show that takes you on a tour through Centre Block, which has been closed since 2019.
The self-guided tour is 45 minutes.

A Tribute to the Tragically Hip
See Road Apples, a tribute to the Tragically Hip on Saturday at the Kingston Gand Theatre.
