It's two years Monday that two teenage girls went missing from Maniwaki, 145 kilometres north of Ottawa.

Monday night, family and friends of the missing girls held a vigil in Maniwaki.

Maise Odjick was 16, her friend Shannon Alexander 17, when they left their home for a dance on the Kitigan Zibi reserve.

They have not been seen since. Their belongings, purses and ID were left behind.

Rumors of reported sightings in Ottawa and Montreal proved unfounded.

Police say they have no leads.
