An autopsy is scheduled today for a toddler who was struck by a vehicle in a Belleville parking lot.
Police say the two-and-a-half-year-old boy was hit just after 8 p.m. Tuesday while playing in the lot of an apartment building on Union Street.
They say the driver, a 41-year-old man, was trying to park.
The boy was taken to hospital, where he died.
No names have been released.
