The second of four open houses to discuss Ottawa's newly proposed transit plans is being held at City Hall Tuesday night.

The City of Ottawa unveiled four potential plans to revamp the city's public transportation system by 2031, on Monday.

All of the new plans include building a downtown tunnel for public transit and are pegged at a multi-billion dollar price tag.

The proposals also include expanded bus transitways to the east, west and southern corners of the city.

Tuesday night's meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
