The green flag is back up on the Rideau Canal Friday morning.
A 7.2-kilometre stretch of the skateway from the Laurier Bridge to Hartwells Locks re-opened to skaters at 8 a.m. today, amid frigid temperatures.
The temperature when the canal re-opened was -20 C, but with the wind chill it felt more like -33 C.
