Ottawa police are asking for the public's help to identify a four-door vehicle wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run two weeks ago.

The crash killed 44-year-old David Ray, of Carleton Place, who was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle in the area of Richmond Road and High Street at about 4:15 p.m. on Nov. 27. The driver of the car fled the scene.

Surveillance footage from a nearby residence shows a grey or silver Acura 3.2. TL that was spotted driving in the area. Police say the vehicle might have dents or damage to the lower right-side passenger doors. Investigators want to speak to the owner of the car.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 2481 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-TIPS.
