Ottawa Police have charged a 24-year-old Ottawa man with numerous drug-related offences.
The Ottawa Police Service Drug Unit executed a warrant in the 1-100 block of Patola Private on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015.
Police, including the tactical unit, seized the following items:
- 50 rounds of 9 mm ammunition
- 7 grams of cocaine valued at $700.00.
- 0.7 grams of marihuana
24-year-old, Juma Abdi, has been charged with numerous drug-related charges. He is charged with:
- Possession of Ammunition while Prohibited under Sec 117.01(1) of the Criminal Code
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance (cocaine) under Sec 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Possession of a Schedule II Substance (marihuana) under Sec 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
- Breach of Probation X 2 under Sec 733.1 of the Criminal Code
- Breach of Recognizance X 2 under Sec 145(3) of the Criminal Code
Abdi was scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
