A 66-year-old motorcyclist is in serious condition in hospital after his three-wheel motorcycle collided with a cargo van at the corner of Heron Road and Riverside Drive.
The male motorcyclist was conscious when paramedics arrived at the scene just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Paramedics say the man may have been dragged up to 20 metres. He was treated for a serious leg fracture and fractured ribs.
Police temporarily closed the intersection as a result. The road has since reopened. Police are investigating.
